Credit Union

The Credit Union Committee meets annually and is comprised of any Cooperative Network member credit union staff person or director wishing to attend. The primary staff contact is Vice President and Cooperative Network Manager Amy Fredregill.

Farm Supply, Grain and Fuel

The Farm Supply, Grain and Fuel Committee is comprised of any director or employee from a Cooperative Network member local or regional purchasing sector co-op who wishes to attend the meeting. This committee meets twice per year in conjunction with the statewide managers’ meetings. Staffi ng is provided by Vice President and Cooperative Network Manager Amy Fredregill and Director of Environmental and Safety Services Tim Clay.

A subcommittee of the Farm Supply, Grain and Fuel Committee is aimed toward Cooperative Network member farm supply credit managers (Credit Managers Subcommittee) It meets two to four times per year. There is a small fee associated with these meetings to cover meal costs.

Resolutions

The Cooperative Network Resolutions Committee is comprised of board and staff members from all member sectors. The committee meets annually to review all resolutions to advance to the Cooperative Network membership at the annual meeting. The resolutions document is the road map of Cooperative Network policy. Vice President and Cooperative Network Managing Director Amy Fredregill is the primary contact for this committee. The current committee chair is Steve Krikava and the Vice Chair is Jim Bareksten.

MAC PAC

The MAC PAC Committee is comprised of representatives appointed by the Cooperative Network chair from all member sectors. The committee meets periodically to review suggested MAC PAC contributions. The committee does not have a chair. It is also charged with helping sell MAC PAC buttons at the annual meeting.

Senior Housing

This committee is comprised of one board member and one staff member from each senior housing cooperative member. This committee meets quarterly. The current committee chair is Cooperative Network Council member Janet Boland. Executive Assistant Vicky Chaput is the primary staff contact.

Utility Advisory

The Utility Advisory Committee has eight directors from a geographically diverse area, with representatives of both member distribution and generation electric co-ops. Committee members are both directors and employees. This committee meets annually. The primary staff contact is Vice President and Cooperative Network Manager Amy Fredregill. In addition, Cooperative Network has a semi-annual sector meeting for all member electric co-ops. This is held in conjunction with the Minnesota Rural Electric Association’s (MREA) annual meeting and MREA’s Energy Issues Summit. Staffing is provided by Vice President and Cooperative Network Managing Director Amy Fredregill.

Two-State Dairy

The Two-State Dairy Committee is comprised of staff and directors of Cooperative Network member cooperatives. Members meet quarterly to discuss state and federal dairy issues and exchange policy information that can benefit the dairy industry in their respective states. Once per year this committee meets separately; Cooperative Network members meet in Minnesota and Wisconsin to address resolutions.
