Please join us for our fourth annual Co-op Day at the Capitol on Thursday, March 8. Cooperative leaders from across Minnesota will come together for this grassroots lobbying event to meet with legislators in St. Paul. We will discuss the important role cooperatives play in Minnesota’s economy and how current issues affect your business.
As you know, Cooperative Network includes a wide variety of cooperative industries. To embrace this diversity, at Co-op Day at the Capitol we place event participants into teams with other representatives from different industries for your legislative visits. These cross-industry teams have become the hallmark of Co-op Day at the Capitol because they truly represent the breadth and depth of co-ops in Minnesota. The teams and their legislative appointments take a fair amount of time to create and schedule, so please respect the registration DEADLINE OF THURSDAY FEBRUARY 2. We will schedule those meetings for you; please do not schedule your own meetings. See you on March 8th.
The day will include issue briefings, lobbying tips, and relevant speakers; a more detailed agenda will follow via email as speakers are confirmed. We will also host an evening reception with elected officials, colleague organizations, state agency officials, and staff at the Kelly Inn, located two blocks from the Capitol
